During an extremely difficult and stressful time like the passing of a loved one, your world can turn upside down and it becomes very challenging to know what to do next and what the right steps are. Our family was so thankful that we made the choice to use OConnor Mortuary for my fathers arrangements. Although nothing can make these types of situations easy, they most definitely made things as easy and painless as possible. They were so compassionate and caring with every sensitive step.
I most certainly pray you dont find yourself in an unfortunate circumstance to need to choose a mortuary but if you do I would highly recommend OConnor Mortuary.

Our family chose O$0027Connor Mortuary to provide services for our loved one. We met Caitlin there to go over the details. She was fantastic! During this difficult time she was very comforting and took the time we needed to make the right decisions for us. On Easter Sunday, 4-17-22, my precious mom went home to be with Jesus. There is no easy way to say good bye. It was and continues to be tough as we navigate life without her. The overwhelming support we have received from our family, friends and church has been an absolute blessing. On top of that, we have received an amazing amount of support from OConnor Mortuary. They made all the arrangements for my moms final resting from contacting the cemetery, setting the dates and lining up everything we needed to say our final goodbyes. Thank you for all your help and kindness you all showed to our family. We are extremely grateful for all of you and thank God for the blessing youve been to our family.

There hasnt been anyone in my immediate family that has to deal with a death in the family. So when my dad passed recently we didnt know what to do. Fortunately I found OConnor Mortuary searching through map around the area. I read peoples testimonials and a lot have positive things to say about OConnor Mortuary so I thought to myself let me contact them. I quickly found out how right all those people are. Everyone at the OConnor Mortuary were very sympathetic, helpful and respectful to our familys needs. They gave our family comfort through this trying time and made it easier to cope with our loss. Mary made the entire process as easy as it can be considering the circumstances, she was professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. Everything went exactly as planned It$0027s nice to know that your loved one is in good hands when you are dealing with the loss of someone very special. Our mom passed away suddenly, leaving us to make arrangements without any pre-planning or previous discussions. Every person at O$0027Connor Mortuary was kind and very compassionate in helping us decide final plans for our mom. We are a small family and a huge funeral was not necessary. We were able to have a 2 hour viewing, bring in photos and memorabilia, and have special songs playing. My family sat and told stories, laughed and cried. Obviously, people come to O$0027Connor when they are in one of the most difficult points of their lives. When my grandmother passed away almost 25 years ago, I remember them being calm and efficient, but at the time I was not a part of the planning for her services. When my mother passed away at the end of October, my family again turned to O$0027Connor. The staff has been so incredible — every person we spoke with was understanding, compassionate and respectful of our emotional needs. In particular, Teresa, who conducted our intake interview, was exactly what my sister and I needed, letting us cry or even laugh a little as we told her about our mom. Thankfully, we already had a lot of answers to her questions, but when it came to things we hadn$0027t thought of, Teresa$0027s compassionate guidance was heartfelt and thoughtful. The staff at OConner Mortuary were extremely professional, empathetic, timely, courteous and helpful. From anticipating our arrival and meeting us with the door open and management greeting us to the perfect handling of the internment. Besides helping us navigate the system during this difficult time, they provided us with several poignant moments to honor our mom. The staff responded timely to any questions. My mom was presented looking like she had just fallen asleep. It was a very gentle and loving process. Thanks to all the staff fir honoring my mom with your care.

We lost our sister-in-law recently and had to put together a local service on a very short timeline, as her MI relatives wanted her there for a service 5 days after she passed. Caitlin and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful in helping us organize the service here, and expedited the paperwork necessary to transport her to MI, as well as arranging the transport and working with the MI mortuary to effect a smooth transfer. They always respected our grief and helped us to conduct the service that we wanted, rather than trying to push a one-size-fits-all mentality into the process. I cannot think of anything that they could have done better.
