My friend was told by the establishment that she could view the body of a friend of 21 years, but when she arrived the gentleman called the deceased son and was told she could not view the body. She is on disability and barely had enough money to pay the cab to and from the establishment once, but not enough to return for the actual viewing. Wanted to thank the staff at Perrys for their professionalism and top notch service during a very difficult time in my life. My family has used this funeral home before, but this time around I had the most involvement with the staff. Tom and Joseyln were helpful and met every single one of my requests. They made sure to explain the process in great detail and even at the cemetery took time to answer my questions. Jack and the other gentleman who worked the day of my grandmas viewing were great. They were so patient and even worked late for a family member who arrived late/out of town. Thanks again for everything.

On July 3, 2019 my wife passed away at a Boston hospital. As emotional and distraught as I was, I knew who to call but did not know what to do. I called Perry Funeral Home in New Bedford and I was told Tom Perry would call me back, as well he did. Perry Funeral Home has been handling my family affairs since the mid 1960$0027s. Tom informed me he would take care and handle everything. From the calling hours at the funeral home to the church service. There were friends at the church that were very nervous as what to do during a mass in a catholic church. Tom made everyone feel comfortable in announcing through the entire mass in what to do. The professionalism that was displayed by the Perry staff was of the best, as usual. I have dealt with everyone of the Perry staff, Tom, Joselyn, Jack, David and Brandon and this is still the same professional, caring and dedicated devotion to the patrons. This is a family owned and operated business of three generations. The service might even be a bit better than when they handled my grandfather in the 60$0027s. I would recommend anybody in need of there services, please call and speak to Tom Perry. I can$0027t emphasize enough. If there were more stars I would give them a ten star rating. Bob Bairos
