Unfortunately, we had three huge losses in our lives in a short amount of time. We chose Puerta Del Cielo for all of their services and we are eternally grateful. This funeral home is tricky. They lack costumer care skills. I do not believe they have the appropriate artistic skills to prepare a body, specially one with no superficial injuries and human skills to deal with the grieving families. In future events I$0027ll skip them all together. It is nice that they are Spanish speaking, making easier to non-English speakers to deal with but there must be better options out there. Even in death people people deserve the best. They are not it.

I had a great experience. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful during this difficult time. Everything was well organized. The staff communicated very well with me during these hard times. Jessica from the office was excellent was very helpful and professional. I would highly recomend their Funeral Home.

My wife passed away on may 30 2022. This funeral home is very professional. They did what they said they were going to do when they were going to do it. Working with them was an asset in this terrible time. The staff is bilingual. The service was beautiful. Very happy with how everything turned out. Dont want to ever be incharge of things like this again because that would mean a death of someone close but if i had to It would be at Puerta Del Cielo.

I lost my father March 25, 22. We decided to go with Puerta del cielos. Our service was rushed and the staff are extremely rude with us and the family during this hard time. (Even parking staff are rude)We had issues with almost everything we requested for our father to be driven by main st, plainfield or where he lived by carew st which we had to drive by on the way to oak groove cemetery anyway. Our request was denied we even had a issue obtaining our ribbons at the end of burial. I will not recommend this place to Anyone and I am very upset with everything that occured. Time cannot be rewind this cannot be changed. Do not go to this place if you are expecting respect and comprehension during your lost! I went with this funeral home because he is Puerto Rican and thought we would get good service.
He didn$0027t help by informing me that the state could help and because I paid in full by changing my credit card they would not help. When I called to asked why he didn$0027t informed me, his answer was… You didn$0027t asked.
He always had an excused as to why things didn$0027t work out. Sometimes you are better off working with the English community that your own people. I would not recommend him at all. He is not compassionate and puts the blame on everyone else except on himself.
